I’ve always loved the act of drawing, especially the human figure. And water seems to catch people in unguarded, vulnerable moments. Two elements I particularly love to draw: the human figure and water. The people in these waters seem awestruck by the light, pausing and almost momentarily frozen by it.
The joy of monoprints is that they are fast and loose. Then paint can be added afterwards to highlight and refine the idea.
